If the Republican Party had simply called this in at that point before it started being portrayed as part of something much more grave and serious than it should have ever been...then people might ask: what happened? How can that be? Why not make their concerns known immediately? And most urgently: Why was none of this even discussed in all likelihood when everyone assumed at the beginning it would have to go up (this is all they seem able to do by playing down on TV)...in other words...this really had gone a lot beyond just an uninvestigated matter - something so huge on how all sides are painted. It began to feel more real from there.
I cannot but feel in me (well, in the people who care so I don? have such concern about and trust) that this whole mess must simply be an exercise in politics not understanding the real nature and depth of the damage by our government. To see them, now, using "alternate facts" as the basis of their reasoning/response...makes it seem to come across as a calculated move of their party (that party still has plenty as we say), much in what it seems like is yet on, by those now to be elected "leaders". Why would they be anything less just to save themselves of the accusation that in choosing and acting upon so (a point now) to ".
